Better late than never! Actually, the Galaxy S7 is the phone, the S6 should have been; but anyhow Samsung has done it yet again and they’ve proved to the world that that they know how to make top notch Android phones. The Galaxy S7 is for sure the best smartphone ever launched by Samsung.

Well, it’s still pretty early to pass a judgment as to which is the best Android phone of 2016, but undoubtedly for now Galaxy S7 is unbeatable. There are some other great phones launched this year but they’ve certainly struggled to make a match with the spectacular Galaxy S7. Even the LG G5 and the HTC 10 couldn’t hold a candle to Samsung’s flagship. Critics have been all over Samsung for not introducing a whole bunch of new features, but Samsung is able to shut their mouths with the launch of the new Galaxy S7.

This Galaxy S7 is a capable Android phone with a unique dual-curved-edge screen. The Galaxy S7 is a great all-rounder phone which has managed to improve on the already wonderful S6. For many users, the best part of Galaxy S7 is that the headline is always-on display with a bunch of other useful information on screen in standby mode, such as the time, date, battery percentage and whether you have any missed calls or texts; But, this is definitely not the most innovative feature of the Galaxy S7 .

As far as the design of the new Galaxy S7 is concerned, we can relate that to the earlier S6 version replacing the plastic body with a metal frame and gorgeous glass front and rear. The unfortunate part is that in doing so, Samsung has removed several features that helped make it such a great phone like waterproofing, expandable storage and a removable battery.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 has an improved battery life which is what its users really expect from Samsung. Samsung has managed to also upgrade the processor which has certainly raised its performance benchmarks. The Galaxy S7 comes with an improved camera, although it might not sound like it on paper, and is now better-suited to taking photos in challenging conditions such as low light. If you’re a mobile gamer you’ll appreciate the new Game Launcher, and all users will be able to find a use for its excellent multitasking- and privacy features, among others.

Sound quality is strong, but many would say the Galaxy S6 is better. The latest connectivity standards USB-C and Quick Charge 3.0 are missing in action, as is the IR blaster. And there are some little niggles throughout, such as the ease with which it picks up fingerprints and the fact it still doesn’t feature a removable battery.

The Galaxy S7 is by far one the best phone launched by Samsung but there is always room for improvement which we might witness in the its upcoming Galaxy S8 for 2017.
